The South County Area Human Services Alliance is a non-profit entity created specifically to renovate and manage a large central facility in Kent to rent space to non-profits: the Alliance Center . South King County families dealing with the stresses of poverty find much of their energy and scarce resources spent on transportation to human service agencies, often located far away, with limited service hours. This one-stop facility conserves the time, energy and transportation costs of low-income clients. Renting space in the Alliance Center also saves money for agencies allowing them to spend more on direct client services by stabilizing rental costs, and increasing the efficiency of service providers by facilitating cross-referrals and allowing them to share resources. |
